Our lead compounds are being evaluated for potent cytotoxicity against cancer cells while showing substantially lower toxicity toward non-cancerous cells in preclinical testing.

Migration & Metastatic Behavior

Beyond cancer-cell killing, our programs are being evaluated for their ability to inhibit cancer-cell migration and biological behaviors associated with invasion and tumor spread.

Why This Matters

A multi-functional therapeutic strategy.

Many existing cancer treatment strategies are optimized around a particular therapeutic mechanism or disease vulnerability. Addressing tumor-cell killing, treatment selectivity, and processes associated with invasion and metastasis may therefore require multiple therapeutic agents or combination regimens.

Vasi Pharma is exploring whether individual therapeutic candidates can bring these complementary properties together: high selectivity for cancer cells, potent anti-cancer activity, inhibition of cancer-cell migration, and potential anti-metastatic effects.

Our goal is to develop therapeutics that do more than kill cancer cells—candidates with high tumor-cell selectivity that may also interfere with biological processes contributing to cancer progression and metastasis.
